RANKED PRO-FIGHT MATCHES HOW DO THEY WORK?

So many questions of how it works and what are the requirements

What are some requirements to compete in the ranked matches or host a ranked match?

1. Confirm Approval before you advertise ranked Pro-fights . This can be bone by submitting AMCF Event request form and sending a follow-up email to the board of directors amcfoutreach@gmail.com

2. 30 days notice minimum for ranked Pro-fights cards . Participating fighters must register with the event using the Smoothcomp program and this can take time to be setup But Exceptions requests can be made

3. Mandatory: Approved IMCF/ AMCF Certified or approved other Marshal with access to Smoothcomp. Contact the AMCF Head Marshals to confirm what marshals are approved.

4. Designated Secretary : We are working on a process, tutorials and limited access keys for approved event runners to assist with Smoothcomp

5. Confirmation of AMCF membership from competitors. You can search for their names on the Smoothcomp community athlete database or ask them to see their profile which will say federation membership.

6. What happens is an organizer allows me to compete in a ranked match but I'm not an active member?

You will accrue points however your ranking will be removed until such time you obtain a valid AMCF Membership this must be done before the end of the current season.

How do the points & Rankings work?

Outside of your win loss record we asses each rank by the number of points here is the breakdown on point

Victory by decision 3 points  (one point for every round)
Victory by TKO , Forfeit, Armor failure  or Medical Stoppage 3 + 2
 Loss by decision  1
Draw  2 points ( each fight gets 2 points)
Victory Fight UP a weight class 3+2
Victory Fight DOWN a weight class 3+1
Loss by Fight UP  weight class 1+1
Loss by Fight DOWN a weight class 1

How does the AMCF Pro-fight qualifier tournament  work?

The AMCF  board will designate a clear ending to the current pro-fight season and select ranking fighters form the highest available rankings and past champions. Those fighter will enter an IMCF World Championship Style  tournament to determine who will be  crowned that years national champion and represent the USA in the current World Championships.

What happens in there are no clear or available competitors in a specific weight class for the IMCF WC's?

In the event there is no clear or available champion for any specific weight class then according to the AMCF Bylaws the Team Captain will provided the historical ranking data and that person will be allowed to choose a champion or leave the slot empty.
